:star: A slight cause for inspiration---

Welcome back my friends to the journal that never ends! How ya all doing out there? Me, ehhhhh under the weather some, but I'll be ok. I thought this time around I would do something quite different than my usual take, I thought that I would share some images with you all from DA that I find inspiring. In fact maybe even more than inspiring, images that move me, and personally, for me I feel these are some of the all time best. Some of them are years old, some not so old, but make no bones about it, these very shots are the shots I go to when I am lacking inspiration and need a "pick me upper". I can sit here and study these, get lost in thought about them and analyze them, wondering what it was the photographer was seeing as he/she tripped the shutter, what it was they were feeling. These for me are motivational pieces....photographs that make ME want to get out an explore, photographs that make ME want to get out and shoot until my battery is dead. These are the ass kickers, the shots that scream "MOVE outta the chair NOW and get up!" when I see them at 330 am. So kick back, grab some coffee, and enjoy, along with some running commentary. Some of the photographers are long in active here, while some ya may even know.

These 2 shots knocked me off my chair when I saw them, the first almost 4 years old now.... the second I suggested as a DD and it got it. mperko is one of my all time fav shooters, he has a way of painting with the light....I miss you Matt, wish you would come back....

The Dead of Winter by yenom Last of January by yenom
Michael, aka yenom is without a doubt one of the biggest influences on me as a photographer. When I first joined DA, I used to sit daily and just browse and study his shots, trying to learn visually how he did and  does it. A local Colorado and Denver shooter like myself, to say he has had an impact on me as a photographer is an understatement!

Evening in Canada by anonymous66 Elements of Nature by anonymous66
Nick, aka anonymous66 ......I can't even speak enough about the guy. His images made and still MAKE me to this day want to shoot better. The 2 images above are amazing and 2 I often look at....I could lose myself for days in these....

Country Road by aquapell Good Morning, Deviants by aquapell
Alex, aka aquapell was one of the very first people I watched and who watched me as well. He was also one of the very first very popular people who commented on my work....and his work has been a BIG influence on mine. I can't begin to tell you guys how many times I have visualized that first image in my head when shooting a scene that is kind of similar. It is an icon shot for me....and sadly I see he has moved it to scraps....but none the less, it has impacted me like an alien abduction!

Biker Babe by deathbycanon Drifting by deathbycanon
Deanna, aka deathbycanon is responsible for me coming to DA. So if ya wanna yell at her lol Her images are what inspiration is made of for me, it makes me want to try and shoot people, something which I have always been scared to death of doing!

Slipstream by Inebriantia Secret Pursuit by Inebriantia
Jose aka Inebriantia work absolutely KILLS me and has since the very first day I saw it. His images make me want to chase the light, and to me, he isn't just a photographer, but a painter of light!

Indifference by Davenit
Dave aka Davenit what can I even say. His work has impacted me in so many ways, it is unreal! Though I should scold him for taking down his nature images :spank: Dave!!!! They are some of the damn best! lol

Mike aka cybrghst When I first saw his photographs, I literally screamed "I want to shoot so my shots look like this!" and have always set my standard by his work. Though absent from DA for a few months now, his images are some of the most influential and important to me as a photographer.

Well I hope ya all have enjoyed this, as I said these works are some of my all time favorite, and this series WILL be continued as I have plenty more I wish to share with ya all. I hope that they have inspired you as much as they have inspired me over the years!
