The most amazing time of the year is only a few weeks out when everything in the Colorado Rockies turns to yellow, gold and red. The mountains come alive with some of the most beautiful color you'll ever see and as I have told many people, if you want to see Colorado in its absolute best, autumn is unlike anything you've ever seen! 
This was photographed along Kebler Pass during sunrise as snow clouds were starting to lift. Located outsie of Crested Butte, it has become one of my favorite locations in my state to photograph. It always has something for a photographer. The mountain you see is East Beckwith.
