Why is there no way to purchase artwork through the app? For the life of me, I can't even find a link to the deviantART Shop on the app.
What's up with that? Also, when purchasing artwork here on DA you must have a Paypal account. Is this new? What happened to accepting credit card payments and why is there no guest option for buyers. People shouldn't have to sign up to the site.
This doesn't exactly help me sell my work DA.

I've been working on my website the last few weeks. I have pretty much moved from Zenfolio to Fine Art America (although my images are still on Zen). I needed a true "home base" solution and FAA offers me that with the ability to have everything at o...
Just did nearly a month in the hospital with sepsis, fun times. I am weak and can barely stand. 2018 has been a hell of a year for me. I did manage to sneak in a fall trip to the West Elk Mountains in southern Colorado though. Didn't think I was goin...
So we've come full circle. Hi everybody.
I'm going to TRY and come back here. I am just not unsure how much time I'll have for it. I'll do my best though. The last 2 years have been pretty hard and I have been very ill and still am. There's a lot I ...

DA is more of social media site for artists, than a place to have a serious store. Just guessing, but they probably don't make the greatest selling features because the majority of users seem to be teens/twenty somethings that don't have a lot of money or people who're doing it as a hobby. I haven't looked too much into it, but isn't Fine Art America a decent place to sell art? And 500 px looks more professional a lot easier to use, but since you're a photographer, you probably already know about it. Or you could have your own website that your DA page could lead to and you won't have to deal with the hassle. I like DA for what it is, but I personally wouldn't try to use it to sell much of anything. Not by using the sites features, anyway. I mean, some people have done pretty well, but from what I've seen, it's usually through commission journals where someone usually just deals with the artists through private messaging, rather than buying through the website itself. It might be better just to kind of "advertise" on DA and do actual business, elsewhere.
