Winter's Pines by kkart Winter's Pines by kkart
Captured yesterday in Colorado's Rocky Mountain National Park, using my Tamron 200-400, I was panning trying to find something that was rather unique....I really love doing shots like this at a long focal length, it is always unique what you can see that you would otherwise miss. I decided to shoot this with in camera HDR to really nail the subtle light...the wind up here was really gusting and the snow blowing hard, as you can see from the side of Hallet Peak behind it, and the changing conditions over the ridgeline to the top left.

I hope you enjoy it
John
