Winter In The Rockies

It is coming as it was just snowing yesterday in the High Country. This is a re-work of an older shot that I have had here sitting on my pc, taken awhile back. I always like this shot a lot....and well I was playing with Pog's Mono Renditioner (It is a FREE PS Plugin and probably the best B&W plugin I have seen in awhile, get it!) I really wanted something that was kind of striking to the eyes and really stood out...something that harled back to my B&W film days....and wallah! Here it is!

Shot in the Kawuneeche Valley in Rocky Mountain National Park, over on the west entrance. I have also gone ahead and posted this on Fred Miranda where it has been receiving some good acclaim. And it's been awhile since I posted a B&W! So here we are !

Thoughts most welcome, print to come!

Another excellent high contrast work

The Pog's Mono Renditioner sounds interesting, I'll have a look into that.
