Heaven knows I have shot this church a million times, and my gallery already has quite a few shots from here. However I have always wanted it in the snow, as the shots have always sort of eluded me, and I did get it this time around but honestly it still isn't to the extent which I want. I will get it though just you watch!
For this shot I already knew how I wanted to look when I was shooting it...I wanted something specifically that would draw the viewer in and look like something off a fantasy romance novel. I wanted something with a very emotional appeal in terms of both look and atmosphere. Modeled after the Dutch and English landscape masters, look at the subtle light, especially the bottom right.
Did I succeed?? You be the judge.
