When I was a kid I used to think that when there were sun rays in the clouds and the sky, that those were Angels looking down from heaven.

I would like to think that is still true.

Indeed I am, I have shot Minolta since the late 80s so I am not switching. I don't any Sony lenses, all mine are pretty much vintage Minolta, exception being 2 Tamron lenses and a Sigma. This was shot using my Minolta 18-200mm

thank you very much mr. kkart for sharing some insight about your gear... i also love the feed backs that people are telling me that a 100mm macro minolta lens is a must have... it takes sharp images they say... i think that minolta lenses are really wonderful and built to last... that is why i am hoping to buy that 400mm F/4.5 apo... i just hope i can find one that is under my budget. Minolta lenses are great, no questions asked however I would be very cautious about going super telephoto (400-600mm primes) which are Minolta lenses. There are no parts for these lenses and if it breaks you are essentially SOL. Your $ would be wiser spent on a Sony 70-400G

so as what i have heard... i am also fixing my eyes on the 70-400mm but i have heard that sony has a 300mm g lens too... i am considering to buy the 300mm but i don't think i can afford it. it's too much for my heart to take.

ya you need longer than 300. If you seriously want focal length, go get a used Sigma 170-500. I used one this Fall and was over the moon with that lens and will be buying one. This was photographed using that lens [link]

wow that was an amazing shot... is it light waight? but i think i can't carry a 500mm? i am only 5ft tall and not that good with carrying heavy things.

as what i have heard 500mm are monsters... i do want to have a 500mm but i have doubts if i carry it around.

It's light, not anything like a 500 f/4. No issues hand holding it at all. Not very large

i only got a 18-55mm, 50mm, and a 75-300mm lenses... i want to volunteer at wwf as a photographer if they have vacancies around my area. i want to help preserve nature... i live in an highly industrialize of a coastal and mountain area... the hills and mountains that stood there for millions years has become plains... it's no longer there... the beaches and the place where mangroves use to thrive is gone too. and god know what had happen to the poor animals. i just want to help preserve what is left and may be just by showing those photographs might save us all.
