Trailridge Wildflowers

Taken early last summer along the highest road in North America, Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park, I lucked out with some of the best atmosphere I have ever witnessed in my life for shooting! The trees, as you can see, become rather interesting from the wind and lack of oxygen up at these altitudes, and all along the way, mist, fog, and wildflowers galore! I am not sure what kind of Mountain Alpine Wildflowers they are and if anyone knows, please inform me. I have to say, maybe other than when Autumn is in full swing, going back up to Rocky Mountain National Park without these conditions with the weather, is just not the same. There is something to be said to be standing at 2 1/2 miles up on the side of a road, with the smell of rain, fog, and the scent of Wildflowers in the air, that is unlike anything else on the face of the whole earth! I also have a B&W version of this which will be uploaded in days to come. If you look closely in the fog, you will see the snow capped mountain sides.
Let me know what ya think!
Print to come.

Thanks everyone for your feedback & comments. It is impossible for me to say thank you to everyone who leaves comments, as it takes away from me seeing YOUR work, but if you do I will swing by your page and check your work out.
Thanks!
