The Trail To Autumn

Getting off the beaten path in Colorado is always a good thing and even more so when Autumn is in full swing, as was the case with exploring on this Jeep trail here, not only was it completely stunning, you are basically experiencing something few really have. The storms were starting to come in over the ridge and mountain tops as you can see, an early taste of winter...and yet the Aspen still shimmered their golden colors...what a sight! I have a regular, non-square version I will upload at some point as well.

HDR blended, hope ya all like it!

This reminds me too well of the times my Mom used to take us driving in the fall around the Steamboat area years ago. We would take the most random, unused trails. I am still amazed our minivan never got stuck on some back road somewhere.
