Have I got a story for you all!
Photographed Friday night at the Sunflower fields on the Colorado eastern plains. To say it was an amazing evening would be putting it rather lightly. Not only was it just sheer fun but we wound up rescuing a little Border Collie mix pooch who have since nick named "Sunny". Emaciated and starving, he was just laying in the middle of the field after having snuck up right behind one of my friends who is also a photographer and laying at her feet. She turned around and there he was! Sweet little guy to say the least, out in the middle of no where all alone and very hungry. Things happen for a reason and it is kind of ironic that he would just dump into our laps after I just lost my beloved pooch almost a month ago exactly to the date. I think it is quite safe to say that this will be one sunset I will always remember!
