The Red Warmth of Winter
Cherry Creek State Park in Colorado sets the scene for a truly vivid and stunning sunrise, and I was lucky enough to have been in the right place at the right time when Mother Nature decided to paint the sky with some of the best color I had ever seen! I waited for a few seconds just to get the birds in the frame as I really wanted them in there to break up the shot some. Used a Hoya CPL and ND4 on this, and a Minolta 50mm f1.7 lens, along with my tripod. Hope ya all like it! ---John More can always be seen on my website at jdebordphoto.com Photo is © John De Bord, 2009. Please do not blog or use my photos without getting my permission first.
