The Offering
When I saw this I was a tad taken back by it, it stopped me in my tracks and made me wonder and ask 'why and who'? The is on the entrance steps to a Mausoleum in Denver's Fairmont Cemetery....which makes it, well, even more intriguing if you ask me. Who was here, and why did they leave this stuff behind, which was obviously left at night time because there were candles....odd and strange as the Cemetery is closed then. Stranger yet that the person who is inside there died over a 100 years ago. Mysterious....and ominous. I really wanted to equate the heaviness of the whole scene here, capture the mood, atmosphere, the feeling it portrayed. I hope I did that. As I said, I would be posting stuff out of my norm, well, welcome to it! Thoughts welcomed and print to come! Thanks everyone for your feedback & comments. It is impossible for me to say thank you to everyone who leaves comments, as it takes away from me seeing YOUR work, but if you do I will swing by your page and check your work out.
