The Hunter

Captured this Coyote while hunting with his pack yesterday in Rocky Mountain National Park, I always love seeing them in the wild, and watching them hunt is just fascinating, darting back and forth in a pack, really amazing animals, and oddly enough, you don't see them very often on the park. The light sure cooperated though, I will say that! Hope ya all like it!
Let me know what ya think!

I love these things. There is this path near my house that goes out into the desert, and on occasion I'd see one. But sadly, it never happened when I had a camera with me, and I haven't walked down that path lately.

It's a great photo, but I think it'd look better if it was a little farther to the right. It's makes the right side of the photo feel kind of empty. It would also be better if you could of zoomed in more.

Having recently spotted a coyote near my house several times, I can attest to the difficulty of this shot. I've used my 300mm lens to get photos of him and have yet to get this close or this sharp of a shot. Really well done!

splendid! a really elegant protrait. too often, coyotes are disregarded in favor of wolves, or vilified as pests...
