The Gaze Of A Red Fox

Captured outside of Pine Springs, Colorado....there were 2 of them hunting and I just sat taking it all in, when the one all the sudden just froze and looked me dead in the eyes. Eyes locked on me for about 10 seconds, just wondering what the heck I was doing lol It was quite a scene though watching them hunt, diving in and out of the snow.

Truely wonderful capture, vulpes vulpes or better known as the fox. My Favourite animal to watch. Many an hour has been spent watching these, hunting, with cubs, and each one a cherished memory. You have captured this majestic animal perfectly and evoked many memories for me. Simon
