Update-this shot was featured in the "Photography Daily", a daily twitter newspaper about photography [link]
This past Autumn myself, ~Glitch-Chaos and *ImpedOut were able to witness and photograph one of the most amazing sunsets I had ever seen. The forest fires were burning outside of Winter Park, Colorado and the smoke was starting to fill the skies in Rocky Mountain National Park, and knowing what smoke can do for sunsets...I was pretty excited to see what would happen. Then the storm clouds started roll in and I was freaking out. It was stunning with this blinding brightness where the sun was setting combined with a sky that was just on fire. I think if you ask John & Jen, every other word out of my mouth was "epic" and "wow!" lol
I am already looking forward to this coming Autumn, and once again having the time of my life. I hope you all like the shot. John
