Straight to hell in a primered 56 Cadillac, baby! Damn how I love rat rods and even more when they are low slung and crackin' out my favorite music-Rockabilly! Captured at The West Side Sinners vintage Rockabilly shop in east Denver, had to get it like a whino chasin' wine! More to come, stay tuned! ---John
It's a '56 actually which you would see if the backside was more visible. Bob's been changing it for about 18 years, every year he does something different to it. Used to look all like a 56, and Ivory Green over Green Pearl flames. Car has been been skinned about a dozen times, I think lol Used to have triple lakes with the model-A coils hooked up for the flames...that was wild, but people screamed murder at stop lights at him when they saw it getting to close to their car lol We'll see what comes out of the garage in another 2 months, it is practically a tradition...I am betting blue suede and something to do with a '57 this time around
I love old Caddys. Great shot. BTW, I just heard "Rockabilly Rebel" today. It's now officially my favourite song of all time. Come on, everybody! "I'm a Rockabilly Rebel, from head to toe, I gotta keep on rockin', everywhere I go, Everybody join us, for good company, be a real cool kat, be a Rockabilly Rebel like me."
It looks like my Mom's car that I well (borrowed) when I was 15 and learning to drive. Ran it into the Taco Bell wall in Tulare, oh well!!!! Nice shot!!!!!!!!!!!
