The Burning Skies of Winter

Captured on a very cold, frozen to the bone morning at Cherry Creek State Park....the clouds just seemed to add so much needed warmth to an otherwise frozen landscape. I wasn't expecting color like this and needless to say was quite startled when it did happen. Pikes Peak stands guard in the background horizon, greetingthe clouds as they change color so suddenly....quite a surreal scene and quite stunning to witness in person.

Thoughts welcomed, print to come!
