The Approach IIby `kkart

Photographed yesterday outside of Agate, CO storm chasing with ~Glitch-Chaos This is what is called a "Gust Front", and let me tell you, when you see one of these coming at you quickly, it is really something to observe. It looked like a scene out of a doomsday Hollywood movie...We found an exit off of I-70 to pull off and got a good vantage point back down on the entrance ramp. There is a lot of nothing out here, so basically standing in the middle of the road to shoot wasn't going to be an issue. It was rather calm until the gust front swept over us and then "BAM!", very strong winds and some rain.

I think I have found a new photography love, and that is storm chasing on the eastern plains of Colorado. There is just nothing else like it!
