The Colorado plains are a vast area, you never really know what you will find when you are out there....and it is also very beautiful in it's own right. Towns come along once in awhile, many of which have populations of 50 people or less. It is also storm country, specifically big time Tornado country come the Spring & Summer months.
While shooting this not to far away from the Nebraska border, there was a lake off in the distance that we couldn't access that was rather huge in size, and I don't recall the last time I heard so many Geese at one single time, it was honestly amazing....but there had to be thousands all trumpeting at the same time. May have to find out who's property the lake is on and pay them a little visit and see if we can get out there.
After that though it was complete and utter silence, not a sound....being out here is like being in the middle of no where, well actually you technically are!
