The first light of a fall day shines on the mountain tops of the Colorado Rockies as the skies of Rocky Mountain National Park.
Sometimes using a longer lens to get intimate landscapes that the human eye otherwise would miss is a wonderful thing, and so it is here using my Minolta 18-200mm on my Sony a550 to get in close to the detail. I love doing these kinds of shots, it is just amazing what you find! Combined with in camera HDR, a Grad ND and CPL, tripod & shutter release, it all came together. I really think that at times, God knows just how to paint the skies.
I hope you all like it
