Say Cheese!

Captured along Trailridge Road in Colorado at an elevation pushing 14,000 feet high, this Yellow Bellied Marmot, "Marmota flaviventris", seemed to be quite the willing guy to pose and allowed me to get close to him. A VERY rare sight, considering that they are some of the shyest wild life animals around, but no, not this guy....he was fascinatedwith my camera and my Minolta 75-300D lens! lol What a personality! I think he needs a toothbrush though lol Check out those hands!!!!!! lol How can ya not love 'em!?
