Rainy Sunset Over The Rockies

Boreas Pass in Colorado....stretching along the Alpine, this road is akin to paradise with just how few people are around, it is utterly silent, eerie, end of the world kind of silence....and lucky the sunset was amazing to photograph as the rain clouds started moving in cresting over the 10 Mile Range and Bald Mountain (Elevation: 13684 ft / 4171 m) which is pictured here. A really gorgeous scene and one which I am thankful to have captured.

great approach with the composition. it's got everything in the frame, with not any distractions. the colors are stunning, goes really well with the soft lighting and the exposure. you're a god! lol

Gorgeous composition! I really like all the warm tones in this photograph. The entire thing is really quite beautiful. :) I can only imagine what it must have felt like to be there witnessing this first hand.
