Outside of Ken Caryl Ranch, Colorado....I happened upon this scene as I was driving. Now if this doesn't describe the American West then I don't know what does lol As I got outta the car to shoot this, I thought for a moment about that old wagon and kinda wondered how long it been there, and who all rode in it. Did it come all the way west during the 1800s, or was it maybe built out here?
This shot was actually really tricky to expose for, I REALLY wanted to get the atmosphere here and the color dead on. So I bracketed with about 10 shots, I just had to get the finer details in this one, and I really wanted the mood and atmosphere, considering the sky here.
All in all I suppose I am pretty happy with it. Let me know what YOU think!
