On Golden Pondby `kkart

While shooting yesterday morning at Bel Mar Park, the light went absolutely crazy wonderful casting a golden glow on the water and I figured this Northern Shoveler (or Spoonbill as some call them) made for a great subject. I was really on the hunt for migratory birds as they are starting to pass through, didn't really see any, but I have certainly found a new favorite little spot!

Love this! Beautiful reminder to slow down and relish the beauty of God's creation, especially this time of year when the temptation of the holiday rush presses in harder on my schedule. Finally putting you on my Watch list. Absolutely love your work, so I don't know why haven't I done this sooner.
