Artist's Comments Nothin' But Sky and Chevy's I love 58 Chevy's...one of my favorite cars. An old shot that I was able to salvage because of my editing skills improving. Needless to say I am happy I was able to! Now generally as a rule of thumb, I would KO the powerlines, but this time I left them in intentionally. Why? Well I started to KO them then went back, after noticing that without them, the telephone pole is just kinda strange and they add a sense of perspective in this shot. Processed with Photoshop, LucisArts, Virtual Photographer, about 7 layers, and custom color retro actions using curves. Thoughts welcomed, print to come! Comments  Amazing editing skills I must say. Without it, this would've been just another simple shot of a couple of Chevy's. Now this is just marvelous. Love the tones!   I think you were definitely right to leave the power lines in. I don't know how to describe it, but they really tie the whole thing together for me, and are an important element... I dunno.. something about their placement is just so perfect, along with the water tower or whatever it is, etc.
 Kinda contradicts your title though hehe ... but I guess that "Nothin' But Sky and Chevys and some Power Lines and some Tower Thingies" doesn't make much of a catchy title... -- Don't part with your illusions. When they are gone you may still exist, but you have ceased to live - Mark Twain (1835 - 1910)  it looks like a photo back from early 60s...
