Just before dawn is a time when the world seems so calm, at ease with everything. A time when the light slowly starts to push the night back, and a time when the only thing you hear is silence. Everything for a photographer at that moment comes to realization, why you wake up at the ungodly hour of 3am, why you shoot, why you love what you do, and why you choose to do it when the rest of the world is asleep. It isn't just about photographing the scene, but the whole experience and taking it all in and with you, too. It is why we choose to shoot the things which we do.
Such was the scene on this morning along the shores of Lake Estes in Estes Park, Colorado. Not a soul sound, just the world asleep in it's slumber and the stillness of the water. Welcome to my little slice of heaven. Follow me and my work on the sites below! facebook
