Lake Estes at dawn, Estes Park, Colorado

This past weekend we had our big Colorado photo meetup and this was the meeting spot early Friday morning. It was incredible, and the sky put on a great show with the clouds and light it provided. It was great hearing the Elk bugle at sunrise. I remember pointing to Leasha ( =Babyc8kes ) saying "LISTEN! Elk bugling!" with this look like I was probably 1/2 insane all excited lol It was an amazing weekend spent with =Babyc8kes ~eDDie-TK ~grahamsz *ImpedOut *daskibum ~PaulGana *Glitch-Chaos ~bluefishrun and one which I will long cherish and remember with many memories!

I hope you all like it
John

The pic looks wonderful!

I don't know if you can help me but... I have been trying long exposure on my camera recently and I just can't get it right... I mean... The pic turns out completely white... And my ISO is on minimum...

hmmmmmm have you tried playing with you EV (exposure) compensation. It is overexposing. Where is it you are metering at, it sounds like possibly in the shadows? Try metering on a neutral area and see if that helps. What kind of scene is it you are shooting? It might be very possible that you need some Graduated Neutral Density filters, or to HDR it in 1+/- stops with 3 exposures and combine them
