Well it has been a lil on the cold side here in Denver lately, so when in doubt, take the dog out back, play, and grab the damn camera! Meet my best friend, Klaus. My 135 pound German Shepherd. Captured in the lens of my Minolta 50mm f1.7....He keeps me on my toes, and sometimes also makes for quite a model too! Oh he says "Woof, woof, nein, woof, maul, grrrrrr, woof". Did I mention he only understand German? Yep, tis is true!
He's gorgeous n lordy have a big dog! haha I love it though! My Dutch Shepherd likes to be a big blur in most photos I try to take of her, haha, or I get half a dog in the photo, hah..
Holy hell where on earth have YOU been? It's been AGES! Speaking of old watchers lol I used to watch you on your old acct a long time ago, spose I need to add ya here too What is news! U have a "Dutchie"? I LOVE the coats on those dogs, they are quite a rare breed, not one ya see everyday, like the Malinois. I have always thought Klaus looked like a Dutchie in the head, especially, but they say it is his Czech lineage. Good to hear from ya!
I do have a dutchie! my lil princess n pain in my ass! When I decided I wanted to get a dog, that wasn't one of my moms show dogs, lol.. I searched n searched shelters for one I liked, with no luck in like 6 months of searching, so I refined it down to a couple certain breeds, n just happened to find Kilala in Kansas. Shes a great dog but she totally hates cameras (I get candid shots all the time, so she knows cameras = camera flash, hah!) so anytime I try to photograph her she intentionally turns away, or as I said, is a giant blur from romping around! Klaus is a gorgeous boy! He has a lil bit Dutchie in his face, for the more shepherd lookin dutchies... I was happy Kilala has that shepherd look instead of the Malinois look, which is more common.. Gotta love rare breeds! I want a German Shepherd too, but I'm gonna go for a German import when I do that, the hips are too risky in the states
