Longmont Summer Skies 2by `kkart

Captured outside of Longmont, Colorado...the field just went 'ka-ching!' with the light and I think we all at this moment basically stared freaking out at the light show that was starting to play out. I was just thankfully enough to have one of the best summers for shooting I have ever had, spending it with good friends and relaxing. Good times!

stunning lighting. I particularly appreciate that it is not overly burnt out, and that the rays backlight so many of the sunflowers, but just their crowning glory - the yellow petals, not the leaves and stems. Stunning

Brilliant shot, I just love the sky

I wish it was as open where I lived as it is in these pictures, the only decent sunset shot I've had so far was at the Jersey shore!

I like the entire series you shot at this field. It's one thing that the golden sunrise catches you, then the sight of the sunflowers. A perfect composition for Dawn.
