Lily Lake

Captured yesterday at Lily Lake above Estes Park, Colorado.....just as the morning fog was lifting and the mist was starting to end. Now THIS was absolute serenity, not a sound, and totally still, just absolute quiet. Standing here taking this in was like photographing a dream.....

Thoughts welcomed!

Notice how the clouds complement the water...the clouds angle one way and the water angles the opposite way. Wow, that's just magical in how you captured this and how the mountain on the right seems to complement the slope of the "cloud mountain" on the left. It's as if nature and God really worked on this day and time to give you an image where sky, water, and land all meet at one location and focal point to produce this unique piece.

A lot of forces and elements at work in this image. If this was a rolling video, I'd really like to see it since it's so silent and breathtaking.

There are some images you took that I'd like to see at different seasons...perhaps the landscape looks greener or whiter?

Beautiful shot!
Was there a duck or something gliding past to cause the disturbance in the water at the bottom right?

Excellent. How did I miss this, I think's it due to the erratic devwatch of V6, it was so much better in V5!
