Light Of The Desert

Greetings folks! I've just returned from a 3 week photography adventure of all over my state of Colorado and have an absolute ton of photos to share with you all. We went all over the place and made it to Utah as well. It was an amazing time spent with someone incredibly close and incredibly special to me. From several ghost towns to several national parks and monuments, we hit everything we could and experienced some of the most amazing scenery my state has to offer. We hit it hard though and it was an incredibly special time for me in words I can't quite describe, from a red fox walking up to us and sniffing us to Big Horn Sheep licking us, it was certainly a photo trip with many firsts. 

In this photograph, captured at Arches National Park, Utah, "fleeting light" or "living light" painted everything in a glow along with a rainbow. Back lit by a thunderstorm, it only lasted for 3 minutes until it was gone. A very short window of opportunity but while it lasted, it literally had me shouting at the sky. It was some seriously amazing icing on the cake to end the day!
