The United States Fish & Wildlife Service has featured my photo here promoting the refugee system in the United States
[link]I ventured out bright & early Tuesday morning to Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge and was hoping to catch a really good sunrise out there. I have had this shot in mind for awhile now and other than one other time, the sky just didn't lend itself for photographing it. Today was a different story entirely with an amazing sunrise that lie up the ground and sky in light & color. It was dang chilly out here, about 12 degrees and I had the songs of Coyotes to keep me company. Sometimes you just have to stop, breathe and admire what is going on around you and enjoy the moment!
