So here I am at my brothers house a couple nights ago and I hear "You better get the damn camera NOW John!" and it was about that time that I noticed the glow coming off the houses across the street. "Get your butt upstairs I will open the windows!" (he has the kind of windows that completely open up, no screens, no nothing....thankfully) I was kind of agonizing of having to shoot it from where I was at, and would have much rather been somewhere else, but I thought, this could be the photo opportunity for something VERY different, and set up the tripod and went to town. This is one shot of nearly 250 that I took.

I figured this was a nice opportunity to capture something in a way that I rarely ever capture nature, with a sense of man, and the title, well, it is kind of a play on words with what us Americans say, "Suburban Hell".

About the photo itself and technique---blended 4 exposures, parts of which are HDR while other parts are not. I like working in this technique a lot, it gives some excellent local contrast and dynamic range increases. All shot in RAW and output in Lightroom, touched up in PS and Dynamic Photo HDR.
