Captured this past August as the sun was setting along the eastern plains of Colorado. Each and every year I look forward to the Sunflower fields and being able to photograph them, they are just simply magical literally going on as far as your eye can see. Just 9 months away and I will be back out here again and I for one can not wait!

You know - i thought sunflower shots would all end up very samey - however... this is great. The sunflowers below. The same yellow above split by the silhouetted mountain ranges. Beautiful and a nice new twist

yeah, but when the sun is setting they usually don't. It works like if you plant one upside down, it will grow in a curve towards the sky.
