Photo thoughts and how I took it---
While shooting this Fall I had the pleasure of being treated to one morning where the frost was just amazing with how it covered all the
foliage in a nice crisp blanket. To make matters better, the sunlight just glistened it all creating some incredible contrast and bokeh in the backgrounds. For this shot I used my recently bought 70-210 F4 Minolta lens (the infamous beercan) which has a "macro" setting on it. (really more of a closeup setting than macro) and went to town. I loved the color palette which nature presented me and the light. When I was photographing this scene it reminded me of colorful all Christmas like polka dots...I simply loved it! As far as post work goes, not to much, the main thing is that I ran some contrast masking in the bokeh to make it stand out more and not so smooth but rather a "in your face" approach. I like it better this way for this shot, it seems to contrast nicely with the leaves.
