Ya know, first off this shot goes out to the woman & the love of my life, Judy. Because this is all about her, plain and simple. I was even debating about uploading this shot cuz honestly, this shot is incredibly personal and deep to me. I am quite hesitant. There are just certain times when shooting takes on a whole other meaning and this is one of those times when I was clicking the shutter and holding onto every word being said to me at that point. Let's just say that in this moment along with the shots I captured at this location, I honestly felt the most complete in my life I ever have. This is a moment I will always come back to in my memories and will treasure the rest of my life. So I suppose to me, this is much more than just a photography or a capture of a scene. It goes far beyond and much deeper than that. If I could relive this moment I would, and I know I will be again before long, accept it will be much better the next time!
Lake Estes, outside Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado. 13 second exposure.
The title comes from the song "Everytime I Hear Your Name" by Keith Anderson. Video here -- [link] It's all about the chorus below:
"But when I hear your name,
I feel rain fallin' right out of the blue sky.
An' it's the fifth of May, an' I'm right there starin' in your eyes.
An' nothin's changed, an' we're still same.
An' I get lost in the innocence of a first kiss,
An' I'm hangin' on to every word rollin' off of your lips:
An' that's all it takes, an' I'm in that place,
Every time I hear your name."
I wish she would come back to DA.....it sucks without her here.....DA isn't the same.....I miss you tremendously sweetheart on here.......
