Captured in Rocky Mountain National Park here in Colorado, this creek, combined with the wildflowers and Aspen trees really made for quite the stunning scene. Though I was here a less than ideal time to do traditional landscapes because of the light, it forced me to look harder and look closer at more intimate details of nature. This is something I probably would have missed otherwise. Grateful I saw it, luckily I captured it! I decided to not use my ND's to slow the shutter to smooth teh water out in this shot, along with the others I will be posting in days to come...I decided I wanted something that looked real, and looked natural as well....and with the way the light was kinda playing with me, I figured if I timed it right, I could really get a great exposure here. Hop ya all like it, let me know what ya think!
Thanks everyone for your feedback & comments. It is impossible for me to say thank you to everyone who leaves comments, as it takes away from me seeing YOUR work, but if you do I will swing by your page and check your work out. Thanks! ---John
Everything on this site looks so different, I am amazed! I can really tell my own PS screw ups now that I can see what is going on! < A redundant comment, I know - but wow! I still can't get over it! I bet I am going to really start taking off with digital now - I just needed the tools, now I need the time to play, learn and grow. Thank you for the support by putting this as a fav - I needed a little reassurance after the struggles I have been having.
