Dusk

Sunset reflects against the sunflowers just east of Denver, Colorado on the evening of Monday, August 18th, 2014. I had to wait for the right second to click the shutter as a breeze was blowing creating very challenging conditions. This is one of my favorite fields to photograph and the last time I had a chance was in 2011. The large sunflowers don't grow in the same field every year and usually skip a few years due to them draining so many nutrients out of the ground. On and on though this field went, literally miles upon miles of nothing but sunflowers! If you are interested in seeing this field during the daylight, I did record a video of it.
