Dirt Roads and Thunderstorms

This past Saturday, myself and *grahamsz decided to head out to the eastern plains of Colorado to do some storm chasing, and did we ever get some great photos! It was a very active day with some of the storms being tornado warned with tornado vortex signatures. This is one of those storms captured in rural Morgan County. The sky simply black as night back lit by sunlight...it was rather eerie too.

When I got home I posted this on twitter where it was seen by KRDO Channel 11's head meterologist Matt Meister in Colorado Springs [link]!/STORMTRACKER_13 who contacted me asking if the station could use it on the air.

All in all, good times and butt kickin' photo opportunities!
