Backroads of Breckenridge
Situated at almost 12,000 feet high and hugging the treeline, just outside the resort town of Breckenridge on one side and the Ghost Town of Como, Colorado, lies one of my favorite places in the world to shoot at....Boreas Pass. This place is just flat out special. It is the kinda place where one becomes one with nature and the elements of the area, there is a real lack of people up here, and often you have the entire place to yourself! Something which I have very much come to value. It is rare not to see tourists in such a stunning place, and to think it is so easily accessible.
Lines with Wildflowers galore as it is peak time in the season for them now, the scent at times was almost overwhelming, floating on the soft cool breeze at 49 degrees, in the warmth of the morning light. The sound of Hummingbirds buzzing by your head like Bumble Bee's...so numerous that every flower you looked at had several.
This is the way it was meant to be, the way to be seen, the way to be enjoyed. Nature in it's finest element, at the start of the day!

 a Nature shot that has a road in it, unless the shot is special. This shot is certainly that, and it is a dirt road, so it doesn't count. I wish I were close enough to see this place in person, but since I can't I have to see it with your help.
