Ya, every now and then you just happen to get lucky and yesterday when shooting at St. Vrain State Park I got just that. I was actually photographing this guys sibling, when all the sudden I realized there were 2 of these guys! They let me get VERY close, within just a few feet, obviously not knowing yet that they should be very afraid of humans. These guys were so small and cute, obviously recently born. I was really lucky enough to have about 30 minutes with these guys completely alone, and just shot like a madman with my Tamron 200-400mm. Needless to say, I went nuts lol
Excellent picture! i like the way this bunny seems to be as relaxed as you describe. I love the way his eye seems to be about to go into a blink or a lazy yawn, and this image captures his ignorance that some people are not so kind. The originality is not as original as it could be, but i thought about it and realized that a wild bunny is much harder to photograph than a domesticated one. The technique is great, and the visual contrast is amazing. The grass seems to be so tall compared to this little bunny and I have to say this is one of my favorite pictures you have taken. The only way this picture could be better, if possible, is if the bunny had been nibbling on a blade of grass or had his eye completely shut. Excellent work, and a great inspiration.
AWW! What a cute bunny! The colors are amazing, both the grass and on the bunny's hair. The only thing i don't like is the eye, when you look at it its kinda creepy. But its still a cute bunny and a great shot ^^.
I love this because even though he's a baby, he gives off a sense of being tough and wild as compared to baby bunnies in pet stores, which you captured amazingly. Nice shot!
Dallas u little shit head trying to sneak in here under another account ! Why I outta! lol How you doing! Holy hell that is one hell of an easel in your profile pic! Ya know, I am seriously considering pulling out my oils......big time and having at it!
haha! I realized I was logged in under this account only after I posted...but then decided to see if you'd figure it out. And you should paint! I'd love to see some of your paintings.
Hi John, I saved this bunny because we cannot have any animals where we live, just goldfish, what a bummer! Now I have a bunny; then again, newborns have not developed the fear and anxiety of our humanity yet! They are so innocent and unpretentious. It really is a great shot! Your friend, Janie
