Autumn's Rising

I have been holding off on submitting this shot until I thought the time was right, and now I feel it is. Photography for me is not just a hobby, it is much more than that. It is almost spiritual in a sense. I share my photos first with Judy before anyone sees them because when I am out in the field clicking the shutter she is always with me These shots from this series had been a little difficult to look at because on this day, well....I went through hell, just a lot of personal things. Now though I look back and I smile because sometimes the best things come outta bad circumstance. And well, when I was shooting I just remember looking at the sunrise, out here in the middle of no where up at Lake Dillon here in Colorado, and pondering, pondering many things, and I hadn't any idea what I was about to get myself into when I arrived home. But that morning was nice, relaxing, tranquil and serene....and though cold, it was one of the most gorgeous mornings I had ever seen.
