Autumn Thunderstorms

This was quite a scene driving with Judy along Colorado's Highway 7 after shooting Wild Basin, we came to the top of the hill and I was awe struck, and just had to stop! We both shot this scene, and it was just incredible watching this for a few minutes, the faint smell of cabin woodsmoke in the air, the distant sound of thunder, and Mount Meeker shrouded in the fog and rain wrapped clouds. Really just an amazing scenic to say the least....I sit back and look at this and wish I could atmosphere like this to shoot everyday! How I love those thunderstorms!

when I first looked at the photo I thought it was enhanced with photoshop or some other program.. Wish I were there to see it myself.. wonders of nature.. thanks for sharing
