Autumn Golden Hour by kkart Autumn Golden Hour by kkart
Copeland Lake in the Wild Basin area of Rocky Mountain National Park reflects the sunlight of Golden Hour. It is rather hard to describe how good the light here was..it just lit up everything in a brilliant golden hue even making the Pine trees look like golden Aspen almost. The thing that really got me in this scene wasnít just the light and reflection however but also the negative spaces created; look at the shadow areas of the trees and how it kind of creates itís own silhouette of trees itself. How I love Fall in Colorado!

I hope you all like it
John

You gotta just love that Golden Hour. I though this was a fall photo at first! (Well it was taken in the fall, but I thought these were deciduous trees, they were so, well... golden! )

It is a very beautiful pic. One of the very rare golden moments in autumn.
