A Winter Atmosphere

Yesterday we had a pretty epic blizzard here in Denver, Colorado which closed all the highways and the airport, leaving travelers stranded on the highways. It was so bad that they had to set up shelters at local Walmart's to accommodate those who were stranded and the National Guard was mobilized in order to rescue the stranded. For those of you who have followed me for awhile, you know that I love chasing storms and getting in shots when the weather turns violent. Mother Nature is incredible and it's often times like this which yield some amazing photographs. Yesterday was no exception! 
I grabbed my camera and decided to head down to Sloan's Lake and get some images. I got quite a few and I wish DA had an album option because I would share them with you all. The wind was howling and the snow was so bad that at times I couldn't see a thing but the fog was incredible! The atmosphere contained within was something right out of a horror film, eerie as hell.
