Captured a couple nights ago with ~PaulGana and *daskibum outside rural Longmont, Colorado. The last time we were out here shooting, a week ago, the lady who's husband planted the field to come out to say hi and greet us. We struck up a great convo with her and I asked her if we could come back again and have permission to actually go down farther to shoot (it was on their property which is private) she agreed, and was quite happy about letting us do it. So this time around we pulled up in her driveway and she ran out to greet us. Sometimes folks, it just pays to ask and be polite! I am really grateful to have this chance to shoot this field at the angle which I did, because honestly this very field has become sort of the iconic location for Colorado sunflower shots (so many others have shot this field) but having the ability to do a unique take on it with a different vantage point than everyone else, well...I guess it is refreshing.
I hope you all like it! John ps-I hope you all aren't getting sick of Sunflower shots yet, because these last 2 1/2 weeks we all have been VERY busy shooting them.
