The Kawuneeche Valley in Colorado's Rocky Mountain National Park is a unique place, unlike other areas of the park, areas of which are covered in marshland...an area I don't really shoot very often as I usually concentrate more on the Estes Park (east) side of the park. It was quiet when John ( *Glitch-Chaos ) and I were shooting down here. The light had a nice glow about it...one thing that I love about this side of the park--it is Moose country. It is just a beautiful area and one I look forward to getting back and visiting again soon.
I hope you all like it John See more on my website jdebordphoto.com all work copyrighted 2009 John De Bord. Feel free to link to this shot on Facebook, Twitter, etc. I welcome the extra exposure!
A little slow on getting back to you on this tip about Moose on Brainard Lake. I very much appreciate it and regret to be so slow to tell you so. I am retiring from my job with Safeway next summer, after 25 years, and look forward to discovering Brainard Lake and a lot, lot more of Colorado and other beautiful places. Merry Christmas to you, too, John!
