A Light Dusting On the Rockies

Captured this scene in Rocky Mountain National Park here in Colorado, shortly after sunrise, the dynamic rage was just incredible, which left my mouth just wide open before it hit the ground. Sometimes, I am just really thankful to be in teh right place at the right time, and this was one of those times where mother nature just let it all come together! Some of the most amazing light I have ever witnessed!
Tell me what ya think!

Very, very nice. Many times at that great distance, the focus is lost. You took this on a crisp clear cloudless day and the results sure show in terms of detail and lack of cloud shadows. I haven't seen many distance photos captured in such clarity. One shot covered miles of terrain. Great job.

Really, many of your photos could earn you money. Look into art fairs or expos. You could be a rising national star and make photography your career.

John, all of this wonderful light you talk about always seems to come at sunrise. Guess I will have to get up early a little more often on our next trip to the Collegiate Peaks. I know what you mean from the few pics that I have gotten at that hour. (Most of which I believe are of Mt. Princeton, since that is the most visible peak from Buena Vista after I drag my sorry self out of bed.)

It's hard to believe you take these shots in the same state where I live.
