Location: Santa Fe, New Mexico

This city speaks to me in so many ways with it's architecture and Native American influence. One of the most legendary cities in America's history, it had me totally captivated when I was down there. I could easily live there in a heartbeat. As I drove/walked around, my camera was like a 3rd eye, so much to see, take in, shoot, study, it is eye candy beyond belief! It is quite hard to try and describe the way the homes are....in fact, impossible, because it is so utterly unique, all based richly in the art of the southwest and Native American style. I really tried my best to capture that feeling here with this shot, and I hope I did. This is actually a wall that surround a front yard and courtyard of a house, with the mailbox 'frenched in'. Unique, creative, and well, I had to get it!

I am in the midst of returning to Santa Fe again with planning out a trip, I think it is just a mandatory fact that I MUST see this city during the holidays and witness how it is all lit up with lights....
